Connection Types
Bluetooth
- Direct connection using Web Bluetooth API
- Lower latency than Internet
- Requires Chrome, Edge, or Chromium-based browser
- Device must be in range of your computer
Internet
- Connection over the internet with a key from the device maker
- Works with any browser
- Device must be online
- You paste a connection key or device token, nothing to install
Device Capabilities
Different devices have different capabilities:

| Input Sensor | Record scripts using physical input |
ScriptCompiler primarily targets stroking devices. Funscripts are designed for linear motion and may not translate well to vibration or rotation-only devices.
